Ep. 12 Clip 1 - The Damaging Ick of General Conference

General Conference has been described as, "Receiving a slap and then a kiss." 

Members are bombarded with messaging that they are not enough, that they will never be enough, and that they need the church to even have a chance at being enough, so they had better come back and stay forever. But they will probably still never be enough. All while they are being told how wonderful and glorious the experience is.

Sounds like the tactic of an abuser. Or a cult. Because it is.
