Shame is a centerpiece of the Mormon church. It is taught and it is taught young.

Children are indoctrinated and programmed to shame and humiliate other children when they step out of line, so they can grow into adults who do the same. This is another cult control tactic that keeps members \"behaving\" and most importantly, PAYING TITHING.
